MaskCue is a voice changer app that changes your voice in Discord, TeamSpeak and in game, built for role play on FiveM and RedM. Free, no account, right on your PC.

One song, three voices. Press play and switch the voice or the space in the middle of the song. Everything was rendered with MaskCue, just like live.
Singing: Dcoetzee, Wikimedia Commons, CC0. The AI voices are trained for speech, so they sound a little different when singing than in game. Voice W1 is only a preview and not available for download.
Every character is a voice of its own.
You create characters like in a role play: picture, name, voice. One click or a hotkey turns them on. Deeper and in a cave for the demon, high and cheeky for the goblin.

Four methods
Fast, Natural, Light or None. Light needs about 15 ms and runs on weak PCs too. Natural sounds best for giants and dwarfs.

Export a character with its sounds as a file. Your friends import it with one click.

A space puts a room or an effect around your voice. It comes with the character or by hotkey.

Hotkeys with a profile for every game.
Put characters, sounds, spaces and recordings on keys. MaskCue sees which game is in front and uses the matching profile.
- Game profiles. FiveM and RedM are already set up. For any other game you add a profile, for example for
cs2.exe. - Switches by itself. Go from FiveM to RedM and the RedM keys apply at once. In the browser or on the desktop the sound keys stay off unless you choose otherwise.
- Any key. Keyboard, numpad and mouse buttons.
- Stop all. One key in every profile stops all sounds at once. Plus mute on/off and recording on/off.

In game you see who you are speaking as.
A small bar sits on top of the game. It shows you everything at a glance, without leaving the game. Clicks pass right through it.

Soundboard and recordings.
Put your own sounds and music on hotkeys. Several sounds play at the same time, and music gets quieter by itself when you speak. Ten sound effects are included, all freely licensed.

Record
Records what comes out of “Game”: your voice with character and space, plus sounds and music.Your recordings
Record lines, play them any time.
- With character and space. MaskCue records what the others hear: your changed voice plus sounds and music that are playing.
- Trimmed for you. Silence at the start and end is cut. A recording can be up to 10 minutes long.
- Into the soundboard. One click and the recording sits on a key. Play a radio call or an announcement in RP while you keep talking.
- Several at once. Recordings, sounds and music play together.
Good to know: others only hear your sounds while you hold push-to-talk. MaskCue does not press the key for you.
Clean voice
Noise suppression, gate, compressor and EQ for your microphone. Keyboard and fan noise stay out.
Latency in view
MaskCue shows you live how many milliseconds your voice needs. Every stage can be turned off and then saves its time.
Backup
Save all settings with sounds and pictures as one file. On a new PC you restore them with one click.

The AI voice Thorsten turns your voice into another person. The AI runs on your processor, without internet and without the cloud.
You download it inside MaskCue, about 18 MB. Before that you agree to a few short rules.

Set up
The Setup page in MaskCue shows you how your voice reaches Discord, TeamSpeak and the game.
What you need
64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a microphone and at least one virtual audio device, for example from Elgato Wave Link 3.0, VoiceMeeter or VB-Cable.
With one device you use the “Game” output as your microphone everywhere. When you need your real voice, you turn the character off. Two devices are recommended: “Game” for character and sounds, “Chat” for your real, noise-free voice, for example in Discord.
The app is in German and English.
What is a voice changer?
A voice changer, also written voicechanger, changes your voice live while you speak. MaskCue does this with pitch, timbre and spaces, and optionally with an AI voice.
Is the voice changer app free?
Yes. MaskCue costs nothing, needs no account and shows no ads.
Is MaskCue an AI voice changer?
Yes. The AI voice Thorsten turns your voice into another person. The AI runs on your PC, not in the cloud. Without AI, MaskCue changes your voice with classic methods.
Does MaskCue work with Discord, TeamSpeak, FiveM and RedM?
Yes. MaskCue sends your voice to a virtual audio device. You pick it as the microphone in Discord, TeamSpeak or the game. With a second device, Discord hears your real voice while the character speaks in game.
Do I need Elgato Wave Link?
No. You need at least one virtual audio device. Elgato Wave Link 3.0, VoiceMeeter or VB-Cable all work. Two are recommended.
Why does Windows warn me during installation?
The installer is not signed yet. Click More info and then Run anyway. The checksum of the file is on the download page.
Does MaskCue send my voice to the internet?
No. Everything runs on your PC. MaskCue only goes online when you download the AI voice.
Does MaskCue run on Mac or Linux?
No, MaskCue only runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.
